Wireless charging industry chain
The wireless charging industry chain is divided into two parts: receiving and launching. The upper and lower industrial chains of the receiving end are divided into chips, magnetic materials, transmission coils, module manufacturing, and system integration. The launch end is divided into: chips, coil modules, and scheme design.
The receiver chip and system integration design link have high technical barriers and high profits(about 30 % of the profit of the wireless charging industry chain). The main customer is the mobile phone terminal. The development status is very similar to that of fingerprint identification three years ago. Only the IDT family has shipping experience. Botton is officially customized to Apple, while others including TI and Qualcomm failed to seize the first wave of industry opportunities. Could not penetrate the supply chain of any mobile phone manufacturer. On the contrary, a group of domestic pioneering companies and listed companies that master highly sophisticated technologies have been deployed in advance and are emerging in the mobile phone receiving market. The branded mobile phones equipped with domestic chips have already been selected by the market's M7 Plus mobile phone. It is a domestic brand's wireless charging program.
In the transmitter chip link, there are many participating manufacturers and they divide into different levels. First-line wireless charger manufacturers, such as Mophie, Belkin, Zebao, etc., generally attach more importance to fixed-frequency, FOD foreign body detection functions, and fast charging and other performance. Brand NXP, IDT, and a small number of domestic chip manufacturers in the high-end market often become their first choice. Among the cost-effective brands, foreign chips are difficult to occupy because of their high prices. Instead, a group of domestic chip manufacturers have a high market share. Of course, the competition in this market is also very fierce.
